In all honesty ... I'd like to think that I would no matter what the situation. But this my friend, is something much easier said than done. I know without a shadow of a doubt I would die instantly to save my child and/or a family member I love. However, you can never honestly say how you would react unless you were in the actual situation.
In what I used to do for a living (which involved saving lives) I can tell you that many times this did not happen. And a person who loved them sat nearby saying "Why didn't I take the bullet? "Why didn't I push them out of the way?" "Why didn't I jump in and save them?" It's not that they didn't want to ... it just didn't happen for various emotions and reasons.
I am extremely strong and good hearted and I have always been the one to stick up for the bully ... or step in and break up a fight so I'd like to think I would do as you would. I know that I can definitely SAY I would because it is the heroic and unselfish thing to do ... but in that situation it may end up a different story entirely. That's just an honest and human admittance and I truly hope it is a question I never have to learn the answer to.
Christmas peace to you ...

Before I grew to become a mom, I could no longer have hesitated to behave on behalf of an extra, although that supposed that I would lose my existence. But I am a unmarried mom, and I need to location my precedence on that accountability. My baby need to come above everybody else. Certainly I could retailer my baby although it supposed wasting my existence. But my baby demands me to reside, so I could be hesitant to rescue a stranger if that supposed that I could die. In some way, motherhood is already sacrificing my existence, if best briefly, for the advantage of a baby. That mentioned, occasions requiring speedy reaction generally don't enable a character to feel via the outcomes in their movements. Someone demands support, and usually a character will soar to support with out considering it. So it's tough to mention for exact prematurely.

I definitely would.
Edit:
And I'm not saying that just to look like a Saint or something. I truly dont like myself as a human being... and I think almost everybody in the world deserves a life more than I do. Except maybe serial rapists and pedophiles. =) Happy holidays.

I believe I would, but only for my Mom and my Brother. Also, if I ever have a family of my own, I would sure be the front line of protection if anything would ever happen.

If it would be painless, then yes. It would also, depend on the circumstances and the person. It is easier said, than
done.

It's not a question I can answer. I'd have to be faced with the situation to know the answer.
