I would have just plead my newest ammendment. "thou shalt not ask me any questions and kiss thine azz!"

He could have dummied up and taken the 5th Amendment. His monstrous ego made him think people would buy his chit. The fans in SF have really spoiled him. A week in NYC or Chicago would give him a dose of reality.

Told *who* anything? If you're talking about the grand jury testimony that he is currently under indictment for perjuring himself: as it was a closed session and all witnessed were given immunity from prosecution, the answer is yes. The 5th amendment is against self-incrimination: if there are no consequences, then it's not self-incrimination and you have to testify.
