Sure it is all wrong and all that mess...BUT the bottom line is
he got hit for gambling,it had nothing to do with the best interest of the society or whatever,it's all about money no matter how you slice it.

People are all caught up in the dog cruelty issue - but the reason it's illegal is because it's an illegal gambling activity, just like rooster fighting.
