A Motorola is a good phone that I have had good luck with and you can usually get one for free through your cell phone provider.

Look at the phones available with the different services. Most of the time they have phones that are free for signing up or free after a rebate.
I've been happy with Samsung phones.

well right now i received a katana II (sprint by sanyo) for an early Christmas present. the phone was free with activation, and the phone works awesome. maybe better because it was a free phone. but still, the phone is great at texting, and everything else works great too.
i would recommend this phone to anyone.

Motorolla I don't know the exact name of the phone lol but its good stuff. I've had it for about 6 months now and I drop it all the time and it still works like new. Gets very good service and clear reception too...except in Wal Mart.

Samsung is really goood I have one and it is awsome I don't know how much it was though go on to thier website.

anything samsung, they last forever ive had alot of different phones and they were all trash.
