You'll go into labor when your baby's body releases hormones signaling that its completed forming and can thrive outside the womb. Those hormones trigger a hormonal reacting in your body that start the labor process.

It will happen when its time to happen. Even with U/S dating you can be a week behind or a week ahead. That said, you could only be 37 weeks leaving your baby with the need for 3 more weeks to complete.

I know this part of pregnancy sucks, but its easiest to stay busy and not count the days. You'll be in labor soon enough.

I'm sure it will happen soon. If it doesn't happen in the next couple of weeks your doctor will probably induce you. My doctor induced me about a week after my due date. Just try to be patient. I know it's hard when you feel like you are ready to burst, but try to make the best of the last bit of time you have left with your husband alone. Once that baby comes your going to miss the peace and quiet.

It depends... that baby will just come when it's darn well ready. Castor oil isn't the best thing for you to have also, it's kind of dangerous. If you can eat it, i would try having some KFC and hot sauce... that did it for me. Also I had a hot parifan wax hand dipping and that worked. Sometimes you just have to wait for babe to make up its mind.

LOL - I tried all those things too when I was 40+ weeks pregnant and NOTHING helped. My son was born 12 days late. You know what's funny, it was this time of year too, his birthday is Dec 27th, he was due on the 15th. Just hang in there, if you lost your plug then you'll probably go into labor soon.

Good luck and congratulations.

LOL, sound like my wife 2 months ago....

Go to your ObGyn and have your cervex scraped. She did that had one large meal and went for a walk....24 hours later we had our first beautiful baby girl.

P.S. She wasn't even full term, I think 32 weeks? The Doctor wanted to go on vacation toward the end of the week(we live in a real small town lol), so he scraped her cervex on Monday (suppose to induce labor in 12-24 hours). Tuesday night she had the baby.

When the time is right...which should be any minute now!

Go organize a sock drawer, or alphabetize your spices. That' baby's on its way! Hang in there.

Best of luck for an easy and safe delivery!

When your baby is good and ready. Your due date can be off my 2 weeks in either direction, so you may only be just over 36 weeks along. You don't want anything to happen to the baby so just let nature take its course. You might have yourself a new years baby.

Hmm... you may start regretting the castor oil in -- oh say, a couple hours from now...
