We are thinking of vacationing at one of these destinations but really don't know which to go to. We have 3 kids ages 7,3, and 1. I'm afraid that if we go to disney the kids will be miserable and won't remember anything, especially the 1 year old. Hawaii will be fun for all. What do you guys think?

FLORIDA. With kids.....definitely Florida. The Disney company makes it fun for kids af all ages. We went last year with my neices ages 7, 5 and 1 at the time. There were activites and rides that everyone could go on, the restaurants cater to the children and there are plenty of family activites even for the little ones. (remember, it is the 'happiest place on earth!')
I went to Hawaii about 3 years ago and it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. However, the activites there are not always for kids. Snorkeling, helicopter rides, catamarans, whale watching, golf, luaus, etc....all really fun great things in a gorgeous place, but I don't know how much fun the kids would have. If you really want to go to Hawaii leave the kids with grandma and go without them!

I have been to Hawaii multiple times, and also to Disney and other attractions in Orlando. First, the flight to Hawaii is very, very long. You did not say where you live but its still a 5 hour flight from the west coast, so add flying time and layover for changing planes and you will spend more than 12 hours just getting to Hawaii. I am not sure how young kids will like that confinement. On the other hand you are probably 5 to 6 hours of less away from Florida from most any place else in the US.

Hawaii is beautiful and has some of the best beaches in the world, plus Pearl Harbor, and a lot of beach related activities. However, it does not have kiddie stuff, or anywhere near what will be available in Florida.
