It depends on what type of soap you are using if it is designed for the face it will not matter if you lather or or apply directly .but if you are using drugstore soap it will dry the sensitive skin on your face unless of course it is dove , but iwould suggest using a gentle facial cleanser or else your skin will show in time what type of care you served it.

it depends on if you have dry, or oily skin... if you have dry skin, you shouldn't use anything but water. but if your skin is oily then i would suggest using a soap in a bottle (i suggest aveeno positively radiant) then gently scrub w/ a washcloth then use a gentle bar of soap to just get any dead skin off... this is what works for me!
hope this helps!

There is a theory that the bar of soap is to rough for your face and can actually plug your pores causing breakouts. If you like to "rub" you face use the foam and your hands or a soft towel then rinse well.

Everyone has different ways of applying soap when they shower or tub bathe. There is no general set of rule for how to lather up. The "pleasure" is generally not in applying the soap, but in the result of feeling clean and refreshed AFTER bathing.

Ha! I did that not to long ago :) Some peoples skin might have little sores or cuts or pump and can irritate themselves real bad burning feeling. Make sure the soap they use does not have any like perfume in it can burn bad, still don't recommend it makes face all red. I learned the hard way :) I use proactive for my face, trust me when I say it works awesome! Happy Holidays! :)

cuz it's bad for your face. i don't really know what you're trying to say...but if you're asking if it's a good idea to rub a bar of soap on your face, the answer is...it isn't.

That question doesnt make sense?

you arent supposed to do it because in soap bars there is lye (fatty biproduct) which clogs your pores and causes acne.

My friends jumped off the roof.
But I'd not advise others to do it.
