tried ad muncher but just booted me off the internet. I dont know about you but Im boycotting the gap!

Use firefox. It has a built-in pop-up blocker. Go to their webiste at http://www.mozilla.com and download and install it. Then go to the plugins and download Ad-Blocker Plus. Get the packages for it and you should see no ads at all!

Ad blocker for firefox worked for me.
Once installed, double click it and choose what to block. Dont block yahoo though lol
You may have to choose a few sites to get the gap gone. read the urls that come up

I wish the hell that Yahoo would remove their add for "GAP on "Yahoo Q&A". Have to turn off my speakers to keep from hearing their dumb conversation.

MIGHT it just be those ****** pop up ads?

those are Messenger Spam! you know,you have a quad-trillion trouble makers and they can be removed for just $$$$$

start--administrative tools--services
alerter service
right click--select properties--select disable from drop down menu

repeat this process for messenger service
