No. Knives are more subtle and makes it more challenging when I encounter a burgler.
Also, less noise so I don't have to explain anything to anyone, just find a large body of water...

My father bought me a handgun, but when he took me to the practice place, I accidentally shot him in the leg...

I have a BB gun that was a family heirloom. I don't use it. It just reminds me of my grandpa because we use to go shoot at tin cans when I was a kid.
