Yeah, i've never downloaded music/movies using p2p software/sites before, but i'm starting to consider it.
i just want to know, viruses, spyware, adware and malware aside;
how safe is it using "Bitlord" for example,
i've already got PeerGuardian 2 installed, does that really make a difference?
How legally safe is it?- if you understand me.
Is there any other software programs that could help me stay "safe" if i do decide to use p2p sites?

I use these programs all the time and I rarely have problems with them. I have Norton on my computer, which blocks any crap these torrents contain, so all I get is the good stuff! I also use Pando, which I found to be very effective in downloading torrents quick and easy. Just be careful when picking out a torrent to make sure a lot of people have downloaded it. Also, check the comment box if it has one because some people complain about viruses on their torrents and won't download there.

BIT TORRENT, is legal, what you download may not be legal, if the music/movies are copyrighted. Then this is a crime as you have stolen intellectual property belonging to another person.

If PeerGardian 2 is set up to block P2P then you will not be able to use. Plus when you go into the download of P2P you are opening the backdoor, for trojans, spyware, adware and malware.

Your ISP (internet provider provider) tracks each and each mouse click and keyboard stroke once you're on the internet, and has an entire record of each and every little thing you have ever downloaded and each and all the web content you have been on. you're very unlucky to be caught breaching copyright regulations, because of the fact ISP's have extra effectual issues to do than unmarried people out. it fairly is advisable to initiate praying that they do no longer take extra strikes, like prosecution etc. wish this helps.

It isnt safe at all. Your ISP would see all the crap that your doing, why would you risk your freedom to illegally download stuff??.
