I love the "Sara's Ride" it is a side carrier as opposed to a front or back and it is great for men too - it can also be used a lot longer (up to 40 lbs about 4 years) a bargain at about $50 for the compact size and versatility. Good Luck!

I have heard great things about the Maya wrap...I am about to buy it myself.. I have a 6 week old and I'm tired of carrying her a few hours a day.

I really like the new slings by infantino. It puts my daughter right to sleep, I'm able to nurse her while she's in it and its very easy to use.

ErgoCarrier is great but for me at only 5'4 hard to carry. I love it though.
