Like around 1 pm... And sit-down restaurants like Red Robin or On the Border, etc?

I don't think that they are, I usually go for Chinese food on Christmas. :)

Most restaurants look forward to making bank on the holidays.There are so many that don't want to hassle with cooking and cleanup,and they count on this.But it still depends if the owner wants to observe the holiday or not.I even passed a Carl Jr. fast food restaurant that had a open Christmas sign.

Many Chinese restaurants in my area of New York have been open in past years.

well i work in a restaurant and the restaurant im workin at does 12pm - 4pm last bookin at 2pm on xmas day and the same for boxing day and christmas eve all day

I think most of them are not,although Denny's,Shari's , the truck stop & hotel restaurants , are all open where I live.

it depends on the restaurant. one i worked at (o charleys) wasnt.
