In Europe we use the ',' in numbers when the Americans use the '.'
So €49,99 will be the same worth as $72.05 (with the calculator/website I used.)
If you want to know the exchange rate and do not have a link ready just google on exchange $ €
or dollar euro. Google is smart enough to offer you several sites. Most work easy enough.
But also remember, if you have to pay Euros while you are in the USA, you will often have to pay a lot of costs. In those cases credit cards are often cheaper in use, even when you have to pay a card surcharge.
(And also remember that packaging and postage will be more expensive.)

Well this is somewhat complicated because, every bank, and every currency exchange agent will give you a very good rate, ranging from $1.35 for 1 Euro to $1.49 for every Euro. But the only problem is ... once you give them the money, they will charge you fees for exchanging. Now the fees can range anywhere between 1% - 5% (depends on the agent or the bank). From personal experience, I would say you would get somewhere round $65.

The exchange rate on most all currencies change daily and can be found on the net. If the exchange rate is 1.4 dollars per euro, multiply 1.4 x 49.99 and you get the answer. 1.4 is not the exact rate today, it is about 1.5.

49 euros is 70.3934 us dollars and 99 euros is 142.2234 us dollars and i wasnt sure so 49.99 euros is 71.815634 us dollars
