You should consider opening up a bank account, Johsua, and then you will safely be able to cash it. If you go to one of those check cashing places, they will cash it, but they will rip you off (like about $5). Your best bet is opening up a bank account - a bank nearest to where you live, possibly.

http://www.checkintocash.com/ and any credit union in your town.
as for a bank, if you open a simple checking account, with some of the $, most dont have minimum balances, you can cash a check that way too.

some grocery stores will do. Ask at the customer service window. Have a friend with a bank account to cash it for you.

you can doit at one of the checks cashing places.... just go to the local ghetto and youll find one. they will charge you a hefty fee depending on the size of your check. Usually from 1-9%.
