When taking a standardized test, applying for something, or wahtever else would require anyone to know your race, religion, or gender... Do you ever feel as if the world simply doesn't recognize the group you belong to?

I have to put other on both race and ethnicity. Just ain't fair, I tell ya. However, why does anyone really need to know what race I am? That seems a tad...I dunno....RACIST!!!!

since no one is 100% pure i always write mixed!!!

yes! when asked about RACE, i put Caucasian, but Ethnicity is not the same as Race, so if asked to Identify ETHNICITY I put either OTHER or specify RUSSIAN AMERICAN.

no i only feel in the black space on my test,i wonder too why do they need to know your race.

yupp!! but when other people fill out my referals they ussually put other. Ussually my mom has to correct them. I know what to put but if i forget to fill it out they always put other or U for unknown. But if i do it i know to put black.
