they can not induce until you hit atleast 38-39 weeks. that is the "safe zone" as the dr told me.
they will only induce though if there is a medical condition, an emergency, or if your water breaks and no contractions have started.
its almost over.. try to relax as much as you can. i know its hard but it is almost there. you want him/her to cook as long as possible.

First why are you having trouble breathing? When you get to the last few weeks of Pg it will sometimes feel like you struggle for a breath due to the baby taking up so much room. If that is the case lye down and find a position that is comfortable and relives some of the pressure..it will seem impossible but it does help (when you sit it squishs everything). If the trouble breathing is some other reason definately talk to your doc. He/she will make the best choice for you and your child's safety. Usually they only induce if you don't progress, are over due, or your water broke but you don't go into labor. Only get induced if it is absolutely necessary. Good luck with the rest of your PG.

When you are that far along, the baby is big enough to be pushing organs out of the way and squishing everything together. It sounds like your breathing issues are probably normal, but you should probably double check with your MD if you are concerned. Your MD will not induce you unless your health is in jeopardy. I know it is getting difficult, but your baby is not ready to be born. Full term pregnancy is after 37 weeks. While 35 weeks is getting close, studies have shown that "late pre-termers" (those born 34-36weeks gestation) can have just as many if not more problems than what most people consider a preemie. Remember - every week you continue to be pregnant, is giving your baby a better chance to finish developing. Good luck!!

Not going to happen...since most of us have trouble breathing when we get that big. Not to mention that induction HURTS way more then going into labor naturally! You just need to adjust the way you sleep to make it easier to breathe. Such as not sleeping laying down...going for more of a reclining position or even just sleeping in a recliner. But if it's not endangering the life of mother or child they won't induce or most women would never even reach 40 weeks.

That's completely a doctor's decision. You need to be seen by someone today. Go to the emergency room and make sure you are okay. If it is deemed the pregnancy is putting your health at risk, they can and probably will do this. Stay calm. Have someone take you. Do not drive yourself. Who knows? You could be holding your new baby by tonight! Exciting! Merry Christmas!
