The 's' consonance is quite appropriate for a poem about the ocean; if anything, it should be enriched. The transition into science fiction in the last couple of stanzas doesn't really fwork at the moment. Ray Bradbury wrote similar poems that worked well; you might find some guidance by digging through those. The poem is competent but not great. It could benefit from being a little longer, but you'd need to take care not to just reiterate what's already been said.

www.poets.org is a good place. You can search by category and I would look under friendship poems.
Or www.poemhunter.com but anybody can post there and so you don't the high standards of poets.org.
