President's Award for Pride of Performance

Established on January 13, 1983 by president Zia-Ul-Haq, this award is in recognition of notable achievement in the fields of art, science, literature, sports or nursing.

Pride of Performance is highest civil award by the government of Pakistan to Pakistanis who did any respectable jobs in their fields. Once a year it is given to people on the independence day of Pakistan by the President of Pakistan. Below is the list of sportsmen in Mountaineering who has received the President's Award for Pride of Performance so far.
