Now that Lieberman has endorsed McCain, and both their parties have at time treated them like rejects, would they run together as independents?

The system is set up in a way to make sure it is almost impossible to run as an independent, let alone win. One of the few things Reps and Dems have managed to work together on is suppressing the possibility of a third party.

I doubt they'd do that, they'd just be making it easy for the Democrats to win, if McCain didn't do that in 2000 after the Bush Campaign smeared him in the primaries, I doubt he'll do it in 2008.

Not if they plan to get elected they won't. When was the last president who wasn't a Democrat or Republican?

I doubt it, but not many would vote for them anyway.
