Yes & no. The present government won't listen, I don't think a future tory (maybe) government will listen. Who do you turn to when you have no-one else?

The Mail doesn’t mention the following from the same polling organisation.
‘There was however strong opposition to [the BNP’s] more extreme policies on race - asked if they agreed that non-white people were inherently “less British”, only 16% of people agreed, with 68% opposed. When identified as a BNP support dropped to 11%, opposition grew to 76%. A majority also opposed the government encouraging immigrants to leave Britain (52% opposed, rising to 58% opposition when associated with the BNP).’

It’s easy to say a majority support curbs on immigration, or even for withdrawing from Europe, but there are plenty of other parties to vote for that have similar views. Not even labour will be advocating unrestricted immigration at the next election. The Tories will make immigration a big issue.
And if you look more closely at people’s attitudes to the parties they support, race, culture and immigration then a more complex picture emerges.

Is not the initials - there are organisations with initials that I am very fond of. Is that BNP is a fascist organisation that I don't like.

Not frightened of initials at all, just diametrically opposed to 99% of their policies.
And I must also point out the dubious nature of the credibility and the political affinities of the daily mail (which I deliberately do not grace with capital letters).
