In my opinion, the question is rhetorical. The administration has prioritized the Fed to be war oriented, because that is where the profits are. The average working class stiff just eats poisons and risks their children in a never ending war saga. Just, our children....

Silly democrat, Don't you realize that the republican neo-cons in Washington are smart enough to understand Spending money for the IRAQ War and Killing (those who had nothing to do with 9/11) are what all good Christians should do.
Helping lower income Americans by providing heath care is the work of the Great Satan (Hillary Clinton).
Republicans like myself believe that poor people don't deserve to live, so they should not get health care. The poor people should go off to war and die to help fatten the pockets of this country's elite.
Now shoo and I'll give you some $5 piece of metal (purple heart) made in China and some BS about having honor after you get your legs blown off by an IED in IRAQ(You Stupid Sucker). I realy NEED to make another $1 Billion to give to my spoiled rich child (who will never have to fight in a war).

Think about it this way----the squirrel stocks up on acorns for his own well being, but would never even consider, nor be able to do anything about, the fact that the forest where he lives is about to be cut down. When it is, that animal is a goner. As human beings, we need to take care of ourselves, but we also need to, and have the ability to, try to insure that there is an "ourselves" to take care of. We have that capability, animals do not.
You can argue about the way we go about it, the wisdom of our choices or methods, etc, but it's got to be done in the face of a threat.

Health and security are both important.
I don't know what you mean about not affording health care...I just go to the doctor and give them a $20 co-pay.
