Ron Paul has a great deal of hype but not alot of support among voters. He can play spoiler in the race but he has no chance of winning the nomination regardless of what his supporters might say. He's a libertarian and basically wants to strip down the government to the most basic and simple elements, a complete and total laissez-faire system. The advantage he has among a few voters is that he's the only Republican candidate who wants to withdraw US forces from Iraq.

Ron Paul is a far right seperatist, historical revisionist (the South didn't do anything at all wrong in the Civil War, didn't you know that?) and libertarian. He will not get elected.

This is a link to Q & A about the scope of presidential powers , from most of the candidates .http://www.boston.com/news/politics/2008/specials/CandidateQA/RomneyQA/
(Giuliani,Huckabee, & Thompson wouldn't answer) . The one you'll see first, is Mitt Romney's answers . Then look at Ron Paul's answers . I think you'll see why so many like him . (My person preference , overall, is Biden, but I like this aspect of Paul)

Ron Paul is a republican candidate - however, he more resembles what we call a Libertarian. He is a constitutionalist - and many Americans feel that our leaders are not following our constitution.

I would be concerned that Ron Paul would be assassinated if he made it into office.

Ron Paul stands for liberty and a return to our Constitution. Why don't you read about him for yourself?

He adhers strictly to the constitution. That alone sets him apart from the rest of these howling idiots who wish to be president. Incidentally, Al Gore is a jackass.

Please don't be fooled by Algore, he did nothing to earn the Peace Prize, with the exception of putting his name on someone else's work.
