Christmas wish list for your fav team?

Question

List a few christmas wish list items that you think would benefit your team. I'll start my two fav teams:

Dear Santa:

Please bring the following for the Pens:
1. A healthy Fleury and Sabourin, and also make the goalies play consistently for the rest of the season.
2. Let the wingers score some goals once in a while. Just Sid and Geno is not enough.
3. Purge their team and their farm system of all the "daisies" still there from the Craig Patrick era.
4. Please make their defensmen throw a check once in a while.
5. Please get them to the playoffs and at least not embarass themselves this time.

Dear Santa:

Please bring the following to the Red Wings:
1. Pretty much keep the status quo.
3. Give the players a little more nastiness for this years playoff run. Gonna be tough to beat the sharks and ducks without it.

Thanks Santa!! I'll leave the bourbon a cigar out by the tree, like you asked!

3. The Stanley Cup, though this can wait six months.

Finally, I would like some money for Christmas. Nothing too big. How about tens and twenties?

3. A bit more toughness

1. A new coach - the players are over Therriens new line up every game.
2. Another Defensive minded defenseman. Too many winger wannabes on the blue line.
3. A goalie.
4. and I hear they'd like their old power play back too.

And for the Red Wings:
1. A goalie. The Osgood, Hasek combination is a house of cards. It's gonna end up with another 3 goals on 8 shots debacle like last years post season.
2.Health for the post season- If they stay healthy they can take care of the rest.
3. Common sense for the front office- they city's broke, you can't be one of the 2 or 3 most expensive tickets in the nhl.

1. Save the Montreal Canadiens from American ownership
2. Help the Ottawa Senators win the Eastern Conference
3. Save the Toronto fans from further embarrassment from Peddie and Co
4. Make the Oilers respectable again
5. Keep Keenan and Calgary's 11 games without a regulation loss streak continue
6. Heal Luongo for the Vancouver fans
7. Find the money for Selanne for Ducks fans
8. Allow the Sharks to continue their winning ways
9. Find the Stars a big-name scorer without giving up Turco
10. Save this season (indeed any season) for the Coyotes
11. Find a decent goaltender for Los Angeles
12. Bring back a healthy Sakic for Avs fans
13. Help Gaborik and Demitra stay healthy for a whole year to give Wild fans somethiing to actually brag about
14. Detroit needs fans to fill the seats
15. Nashville to have the fans to give the new owners hope
16. The Blue Jackets to shed the stigma of being that 'other' team to the Buckeyes
17. The Blues to have more competent management
18. The Sabres to recapture some of last year's magic
19. The Bruins to stay consistent all year long
20. The Rangers to finally gel as a team around Lundqvist
21. The Devils and Brodeur to continue their hot streak and prove Mikey wrong
22. The Islanders to red themselves of Jude in his entirety
23. The Flyers to rebound and capture the success of their first 15 games
24. For Penguins fans, Crosby running away with the scorinmg title
25. For Capitals fans, the team rallying around Ovechkin
26. For the Lightning, any goalie above the age of 18 (as of September 15, 2007) who can stop a puck
27. For Canes fans, Eric Staal grabbing the bull by the horns and running with it
28. The Panthers to continue their path towards the playoffs
29. The Thrashers to continue to give Darren Haydar his due!

30. For the Blackhawks
a) Change the name back to Black Hawks
b) a healthy Martin Havlat
c) Continued utter doniation of the Dead Things in Detroit
d) a Calder Trophy for Jonathon Toews

- Bring home a Spengler for Canada
- Bring the World Junior Gold back to North America (where it should permanently reside!)

Please bring the following to the Penguins:

1. A goaltender; a real, breathing, live goaltender who can stop pucks with ease. A goaltender who can make saves in the clutch. A goaltender whose last name isn't Conklin (make him wear a different number already...he is unworthy of #35) or Sabourin.

2. Alexander Frolov and Lubomir Vishovski to join the Penguins roster. Yep, I went there!

3. Sound defense.

4. A playoff berth.

5. A new head coach next season (someone say...Brian Sutter?)

6. Good health for the Kids.

7. Another trophy on the shelf for a certain superstar-in-waiting.

Here's my wishlist for the Hurricanes...

1.) An unusually speedy recovery for Justin Williams from his reconstructive knee surgery (3 months??)
2.) More consistency in playing style and intensity, so two wins won't always be followed by two losses...
3.) A healthy foot for Mike Commodore
4.) a fun, relaxing Christmas for every player to spend with his family and friends.

Cookies are on the table in the Tupperware, milk, beer, soda what ever you need is in the fridge, just be wary of the watch cats. Bribe them with treats and you should be fine.
