It was, as pointed out Noah, and supposedly he took two of every animal on earth at God's request. Which begs the question, with the advent of D.N.A, why would God have placed this unbearable burden on the back of this 600 year old poor man ( genesis 9.29 )...~ talk about a heavy cross to bear ~ would'nt it have been easier to have provided him with the d.n.a of all the species to be saved? With D.N.A no feeding required, and no mess to clean up ~ and why go through the process anyway, if God wanted to take the masses ~ pun intended~ out,,why did'nt he just do so, rather than to flood the planet ?
