Every year on Christmas Day i am always the first to wake up, i wake everybody else up afterwards. My mom and dad have to go downstairs and "get ready" and my mom has to have her cup of coffee b4 we can come down stairs to open presents. I hate it all the anxiety and everything. And it is kinda boring sitting at the top of the stiars for 30-45minutes doing nothing. What is something i can do? I have a 16 yr old bro, mayb i can do something w/ him, depending on if he is in a good mood or not, he he isnt, he will just yell at me. WAT IS SOMETHING I CAN DO???

I always have to wait for that, and It is very annoying. How about listening to some holiday tunes, or imagining what your gifts will be, I do that or talk to my brothers.

If you're into reading, I always find that a book is a great way to pass the time. Or you could listen to your iPod or MP3 player. Do you have a Nintendo DS or PSP? You could play a game while you wait. I know what you're talking about. When we were kids, we used to have to wait in the other room sometimes while our mom and grandma got everything ready, and the anticipation nearly kills!!! Merry Christmas!

when i was a child we always had to wait as well so that it could be a family thing. our parents always allowed us to get our stockings and we would open and play with those things until my parents and grandma were ready.

just remember that your parents want to see you open your presents but they have had many more christmas;s than you and enjoy getting a day off of work to sleep in, which is rare.

dont worry! youll get to open your presents soon enough and suddenly you wont have any more to open so relaxe and just enjoy it! try to eat a breakfast and watch tv or do something nice for yourparents, like picking up a room so surprise them as well. if you stay busy and helpful thigns will go a lot qucker.

merry christmas!
