I was barely sitting down when I heard a voice from the other stall saying: "Hi, how are you?"

I'm not the type to start a conversation in the men's restrooms at a rest stop but, I don't know what got into me, so I answered, somewhat embarrassed, "Doin Just Fine!"

And the other guy says: "So what are you up to?"

What kind of question is that? At that point, I'm thinking this is too bizarre so I say: "Uhhh I'm like you, just traveling east!"

At this point I am just trying to get out as fast as I can when I hear another question.

"Can I come over to your place after while?"

Ok, this question is just wacky but I figured I could just be polite and end the conversation.

I tell him, "Well, I have company over so today is a bad day for me!"

Then I hear the guy say nervously...

"Listen, I'll have to call you back. There's an idiot in the other stall who keeps answering all my questions!"

This one took me by surprise!!! I am still laughing. Very funny. Another reason for me to hate cell phones.

My Ex used to do that all the time. Talk on the cell while going to the bathroom. Don't they think the person on the other end of the phone does not know what they are doing. DUH!!!
How Rude can that be. Can't they make a call or answer the phone after they are through doing what they are doing?
And why do they have to talk so loud that they have to disturb everyone else around them. It's the ones with the Bluetooth
stuck in their ears that you really don't know that they are not talking to you, but someone else on the phone. God how did we ever survive before cell phones, just fine thank you !!!!!
I hate cell phones, and only use one in case your car breaksdown and you need to call for help, or in an emergency.

I had that happen in the ladies room at work. A coworker in the next stall was on a cell phone. Since I knew her, I thought she was talking to me. Needless to say, I waited for her to leave before exiting the stall, red faced and red bottomed.

Whenever I hear some loser at work talking on the cell phone while in a stall, I look for an empty stall and flush the toilet. Hopefully somebody is able to hear the toilet flush. And my all time favoirte act is to break wind next to the stall. YESSSSS.

Something like that happened to my husband one time. Just as he walked into the mens room at work someone said ''Hey, you doin' all right.'' He answered ''yes'' and then the guy said ''How's your day been?" and he said ''Fine'' then realized the guy in the stall was on the phone.

Yes, I can see where you would be nervous hearing these kinds of questions. Next time, just be silent, and don't engage in conversations with people when you feel so uncomfortable. And, make sure you keep the stall locked at all times.

I know I shouldn't be answering questions with a question but I just have to ask this Suzie, "What were you doing in the mens room?"

All I want to say is, anybody that flushes the toilet while someone else is on the adjoining stall on a cell phone, is alright in my book.
Please, everyone, go flush your toilets to show support.

I have never heard that one before. I think it is funny. If I was that guy answering those questions, I would have been so embarrassed.
