Duffman, they do get public housing. LA TIMES just came out with an article stating that immigrants being bribing government officials to falsify section 8 housing documents and then deleting the evidence to get government subsidize housing. It's been going on for some time now. It's like saying there no such thing as illegal immgirant, because you need a visa to be here.

That doesn't happen-illegals don't get that kind of benefits. The claimms tat they do are just right-wing propaganda.
And if you want toknow who to thank for the fact that there are 12 milllion illegals in the US--look at the facts, not the propaganda:

The Republicans made this mess--all by themselves. Now its going to be up to the Democrats to fix itt. A 700 mile fence on a 2000 mile border is not going to do that--it would be awaste of taxpayier money.
Americans realize that. Polls show 75-80% favoer a guest worker program and amnesty. The right-wing wonn't like that. Tough. They made this mess and have no business complaining when real Americans step in and put a stop to it. If they wanted to do something about illegals--they had teir chance. They chose to do nothing.

No one can be here illegally, living in Govt housing, getting welfare check, and making lots of babies. It is against the law and you will be jailed (Many are according to MSNBC news). Besides, there are so many of white, heterosexual Protestant American citizens (for generations) that do do it, there is no room for the alien to do so.

Just as long as you don't forget the Republican President for 1)not pressing the issue and 2)not supporting deportation anyway. After all, if he really cared about the issue, he'd berate congress, he's berated them a dozen times over their earmarks alone. But since an overwhelming majority of Americans could care less about illegal immigration and the border fence issue, I don't think it really matters.

well its like with all this administrations dirty dealings!!!
the fence was paid for and put under a no-bid contract for a subsidary of Halibutron, moneys missing, no work done, then halibutron turned around and hired the illegals for less than minimum wage, no benefits and then is also charging them for room and board!!!
so its just business as usual!!!
