It is a Maytag oven. It just started doing this last night. It is beeping constantly while displaying the above message. We tried putting the probe in and taking it out, but it keeps beeping. Help!

If the reset of the computer in the display panel doesn't work, (the disconnect/reconnect to electricity), then there's most likely something amiss with the electronic circuit board that controls the panel readout. These things are nice when they work, but when they quit, they're a real pain. It's not something a DIY'er should try to replace, as there is generally a reason it went bad in the first place. Unless that problem is addressed, the new panel would probably short out in a short time if not immediately. If it's a comparatively new range and all else is in good condition it may be worth the price to have a tech come look at it to see if it can be repaired at a reasonable price. If it's very old I'd look for a new unit.

Sounds like something is either in the jack that the probe connects too or the jack is shorted out inside.

Shut the power off and clean out the oven probe hole, it's probably shorted out with gunk.

TRY UNPLUGGING IT AND THEN PLUG IT BACK IN.
