I'm 17 yrs old. Can I go to a post office and send somebody a money order? Or do I need to be 18? thanks.

The post office will be happy to take your money.

This is how I bought stuff when I was 13. Your recipient may need to be old enough to have ID to cash it when they get it. (They take the post office money order to the post office, it's easily cashed.)

there is no age limit when doing business at the post office and whom every you send the money order too can also cash it at the postal office with proper id!!!

I can tell you that today and tomorrow are both holidays and the Post Offices in the United States are closed.

I THINK THAT YOU CAN TRY TO CAL THE POST OFFICE BEFORE TO MAKE SURE THEY OPENED TODAY TOO i guess th receiver is the one who's may be need to bee 18 to get the money .. i hope i help you question.... try
