Unsold Seasonal Clothes?

What do major chain department stores such as Macy's Dillards, etc. do each year with unsold seasonal clothes?

After all the Clearance Sales, when the season is completely over, leftover goods is sold to discount jobbers.

i think they would sell them overseas, as some tropical countries have only summer all year round. and probably, they would hold a big sale just before the season ends. another possiblity is that they would be sold to stores like F.O.S (factory outlet stores).
