I'd way rather work at home than be stuck in an office or behind a cash register all day. Consider yourselves lucky!

This is the work of God guiding him out of the lies and misconceptions of Christianity and guiding him on the path of Islam, it is a miracle, Glory be onto God Almighty! I was 14 when my mother probably posted something like this comment. A smart kid, he truly is, he is probably wondering "Where in the Bible does it say to kneel and stand all day?" or "Where in the Bible does Jesus say with his own words that he is God?". I think taking him to a different church won't help at all. Instead, ask him why he doesn't believe anymore? If he asks a question, find a complete answer with proof and evidence. Bring him to your priest and have him talk. Even though I am Muslim, we both beleive in the same God. And what we don't want to see is he lose his faith in God completely and become an Atheist. Please by all means keep that from happening. Make religion fun for him. If he is confused about an aspect, have him talk to a scholar or priest, just keep his faith in God and in monotheism. ;) Good luck and may God bless you and guide your family.

Yes, just not tomorrow. If he does it in the morning today, it does not sound like a big deal. Personally, I don't think Christmas Eve is a big deal. It is just like him working on New Years Eve. In the end its up to you!

Why not, my son is working on Christmas Eve. Giving him something to look forward after wards might make it easier to get him to help you with the chores you are asking him to do.

Yes-what's wrong with that? Is Christmas Eve some holiday where people don't work?

Yes, he should work on Christmas eve, what ever his job calls for is what he should do. Most people don't like to work, what of it? It don't matter he don't like it., That is what life is all about, its doing things we really don't want to do. . .May his work, it will learn him, sometimes we have to do things we really don't want to..It is preparing him for when he becomes an adult. . .

I think you two should do it together as maybe a sort of "bonding experience"...it may not be the funnest thing to work on christmas eve but atleast you're showing him the right and mature thing to do.

Well....everyone is obviously gonna say no. But....it isn't actually Christmas day, but family should help one another. So yeah, he needs to respect you!
