Merry Christmas!!!!

(And incase I need to ask a baseball related question so I don't get reported, which baseball player would you like to have over for Christmas dinner with your family? I'm going with David Wright or Jonathan Papelbon.)

:)

Sure, but if only if you do it during the 7th inning stretch so we can sing, " God Bless America ", at the same time...

As far as having Christmas dinner with a major league baseball player goes - well, I'm not sure. For one thing, you didn't say if it had to be a current player or one from the past. If you want conversation, how about Ned Garver, who remains the only pitcher to have ever won 20 games for a club that lost 100 games ( St. Louis Browns in 1951 )? I bought a book a few years back in which one of the chapters was about him. Since I was in his neighborhood ( Ney, Ohio ) a short time later, I stopped at his home to see if he'd autograph it for me. Not only did he sign it, but he talked my leg off for atleast an hour! I think he might've been a little lonely as his wife had gone shopping in Ft. Wayne that day. And the strange thing was, he hadn't even received HIS copy from the publisher yet! Anyway, what an experience!

Well you do have to becareful, because not everybody celbrates Christmas, so I would think that it would be more apprioate if you say Happy Holidays. But if you know for sure, that somebody that does celbrate Christmas, then it will be okay to say it, or you can ask them yourself if it will be okay for you to wish them a Merry Chistmas.

And even to answer, so I don't get reported, that is a lot of points to lose, I will have to go with Dereek Lee.
