im white but if i say one thing about me being proud of it then i get labeled as a rascist... and no im not a racist!
i know that i will get ridiculed for what im about to say but :
i was not a slave trader and im not in the KKK so why should i be treated like i am? its degrading to be white these days because everything we do is wrong!!!!!!!! i dont even CARE about races only the HUMAN RACE which is the one God cares about and im just babbling so ill stop there:)

there is nothing wrong with being proud of who you are or what you have done with your life -- if you are in the kkk and are proud of it - that is ok with me -- or if you are in a upper class where only the rich (color does not play here) live and are proud so be it -- as long as you do not put down anyone or anything it does not bother me!!!

Be proud of yourself. What those did who came long before you does not reflect the kind of person you are. And ignore the bigots out there who are always looking for some old reason to stir things up. I'm white, from the South, but damn sure do not support the KKK or skinheads.

Ok - I am so sick of this question. Dont talk about it - be about it. If that is what you need to do - do it. But before you do maybe try reading some books on race in American (a wide variety) to understand the context in which you live rather than just reacting.

there is nothing wrong with it and no it doesnt make you a racist... its only when a person who uses their color as an excuse for trying to get away with something or use it as an excuse to hurt someone.. personally i think that in some ways we are all discriminatory people by nature whether its by skin color, size, disability, all those things that make us different from each other is what makes us weak and makes us believe we are superior to others.. even though we arent!

NO! You are only racist if you RIDICULE and BELITTLE other races in the process of saying "you're proud" if you feel that you have to belittle other races to make yourself feel good you are a racist.
BTW
MOST whites RARELY say they are proud without Adding on how "bad" other races are in comparison. At least I never knew one that did.
