We're both military and away from friends and family and new significant others, but we have both spent holidays alone before and it's too depressing.

I would just have a kind of traditional kind of Christmas, get your ex a present that says "I just want to be friends" make sure where ever you are that there are no mistletoe around, that's how a lot of people who want to get back together, well get back together. But if you still have feelings for them and something happens, then it happens, just if you feel like you're being forced back into a relationship then tell him, be totally honest.

If you are with some others that are away from home and family, why don't you all get together and have a Christmas sing along.Maybe there are others who dont want to be alone either.Being with a group and having a party and singing carols is a nice way to pass an evening out.

Take a ride, and look at Christmas lights. Invite some more people over.
