me and my frenind keep fighting over whos better i would say ovichkin but wat do i know im only 9 my frend says crosby i think ovichkin is a natrule goal scorer and crosby only gets assistes well thats my side of the story

Pure goal scorer I would give Ovechkin a slightly better rating than Crosby but as an overall player/talent I would say Crosby. Crosby is emerging as the leagues best player if he already isn't. Go Pens!! Hope everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas.

In order to get an assist, there has to be a goal attached! That is why in the scoring race, an assist is worth the same as a goal!
Oh, and Crosby is better!

Crosby is a more complete hockey player. Goals, assists, backchecking and not scared to get involved in the rough stuff and through his body around. Ovechkin is an amazing natural gaol scorer but really needs work on his passing game and tends to get flustered with the constant coverage, at times can be a defensive liability.

Crosby makes other players better and is younger. He's a palymaker while Ove is a power forward. Crosby IMO and most ot hers is the better player but if I could add one of them to my team ( the wings) it'd deffinitaly be Ovechkin because he's what the wings need.

besides.. they make crosby all HYPE w/o the stripes.
(plsu he to me has not proved he deserves that 'c' on his jersey)
Definately Ovie. He gets the goals (he's on a crappier team I think) & I have not seen Crosby make one 'paly' like the one vie did to score 'THE GOAL'
