I believe what you are looking for is the product know as Scotch Tape, Scotch was a term used for being a cheap-skate,or stingy by nature. I think it derived from the mid-west city of Chicago.

The restaurant "Lil' Black Sambos" changed its name years ago to "Sambos", even though the name was based on a story about a character from India. It was a victim of political correctness. Scotch Tape might be one such product. We use that stuff by the gross tonnage weight at Christmas time.

Chocolate babies. I ate them as a child and i saw my first live one at age 5. They still sell chocolate babies.
