My goodness....I usually hope not! Anything that I attempt to wrap usually ends up looking a mess....but my gifts seem to be well received. I think I am probably the most untidy person I know when it comes to wrapping, though....most of the gifts I receive seem to be nicely wrapped.

Hi Clo, No that isn't importance at all. I have grand kids who wrapped my present and it may not be the best wrap but it's the thought that really counts and the Love in their little Hearts.

I rap the gift with my knuckles to hear what is in side of it. Hopefully, gift wrapping is not a critical skill. I can't gift wrap worth a lick.

It's important that the gift is good enough to make people forget about the lousy wrapping.

It is what is inside that counts....
and the thought and love that goes into the gift....
The wrapping no matter how pretty will just fall away...
And
I'll let you in on a secret...
The elves do not wrap gifts as pretty as Mommy!
Peace.

I think so. If it is poorly wrapped, then the person you give the gift to will think you didn't put very much effort or time into the gift.

It's more of "It's the thought that counts." But I always like nicely wrapped presents. But that's just me.

The wrapping goes astray as soon as a child puts their hands on it...they never noticed how it is wrapped.
