My dog and cats sometimes look out the windows, and watch me as I am backing out of the driveway.
Sometimes I wave goodbye, or blow kisses .... :)
This is considered normal behavior, isn't it ...?

And isn't is amazing that this question has never been asked before ...?

YA: "NO similar questions found!" Amazing!!!

I usually scream back towards the house something like, "I'm watching you!" to encourage them to be good a little longer. Sadly, it never works.

Only when they wave bye first (Is that considered normal behaviour?)
I'm usually in too much of a jumbo hurry to think about it, and they know it.
Sometimes, I think they are anxious for me to leave, because every once inna while, when I've forgotten something, they seem remotely disinterested when I walk thru the front door only 3 minutes later...

Next time, ya might try the Pets Section, because lotsa pet lovers hang out over there! This was a very cute question! The kind that they really crave over there, imo.

Merry Christmas!

Thats a normal behavior because you consider your pets as a family member and your pets see that. When they're looking at you when you leave the drive way, thats a sign of them saying goodbye.

Lol, yes, if my Dog is looking out the window when I pull out of the driveway I wave goodbye to him frantically! My neighbors must think I'm freakin' weird!

Yeah I do do that! My dog is a big dog she's a German Shepard and as I pull out of the driveway she'll come up to the gate, so if she can acknowledge me I can do the same for her and wave sometimes even honk! I love her!!

I always say goodbye to my pets before I leave the house. I live on a small side street so I usually don't see them as I'm driving off.

I wave goodbye to my doggy as I walk out the door. He's really small and can't really see out the window. Everytime I leave, he runs over to the steps like he wants to go too. I feel bad, because he can't go, so i just wave and blow him a kissy. : )

Yes I did 8 years ago. I did it because I fell in love with an english man. That went really wrong but i am happy here now and could not really imagine moving back to my old country even thoug it is lovely there.

i don't mean to brag or anything, but about 70% of my questions have "no similar questions found"... but of course, i aim for that when asking my questions... it seems that's how you get the most interesting answerers to answer your questions...

to answer your question... no, i don't wave, but that's because i live in an apartment building and can't see my windows as i leave... i do, however, find my cat, pet him for about 30 seconds and tell him to be good before i leave...

by the way... please, please, please!.. no more Lucky the Chicken responses... you'll get a BA if you let that one go... no offense...
