Ok, I got a few extensions added to the outer edges to see if I could tolerate lash extensions. So far so good. I have been told that once I have all of the extensions in place I will not need to use mascara. That sounds good to me. Right now I am having to use mascara on the rest of the lashes, otherwise it looks like I have 5 great eye lashes on the outside corners and nothing else. I guess my questions are:

1. If you have extensions, do you really like them that well and is it worth the expense?

2. How do you take off the make up that you do wear now, eyeshadow and what not?

3. How often do you have yours filled?

Thanks!

I'm actually in my forties and my lashes are starting to thin out. So, not I do not have thick lush lashes to begin with. I was kind of looking for answers from people who actually have them on and not opinions about getting them in general. As for the cost, I can afford it that isn't an issue. I was wondering if those who had them thought the money was well spent.

That's very expensive, to my knowledge. In my opinion, no, it's not worth it. Whereas you're getting them filled or whatever it is probably every three weeks or so, is it really worth it to you?

The secret is a good generic mascara. Given your age is a factor, by your forties or so they start to thin out a bit, I bet you have plenty of volume. All you need is a generic mascara and I think you'll be great!

Also, I know they have volumizing proteins you can put on your lashes just like mascara around, and that is probably much cheaper!

Regular soap and water takes those things right off. I like to use Stridex pads with aloe, it softens the skin and gets the gunk off without any alcohol burning. In a way, you're cleaning and softening your skin, clearing out those pores.

Tried those once "back in the day". Honey, you're super gluing plastic "lashes" onto your own. No matter how good the glue, it will separate...nice look. Whatever you do to remove the rest of your makeup will also compromise the structural integrity of the glue...nicer look. And ultimately lead to loosing the lashes the glue was applied to....wonderful look.

Be the first girl on your block to have bald eye lids. I'll bet you have those black, thick, NATURAL, drop dead lashes too, huh?
