Nowadays- Waking up is getting harder and harder- I make sure I get enough sleep ( 6-7 hours every night ) but when I wake up the next day- I just ( no matter what ) can't get my legs off the bed and end up getting late to scool because of it. Is there any way to Energize myself in the morning to keep myself awake

one trick is to have a loud, very anoying sounding alarm clock. Then set it a distance from your bed so you don't just turn it off from your bed, instead you actually have to get up to shut it off. That works for my daughter and for my husband. He is terrible about getting up, but with the alarm clock trick, once he's out of bed, he's up for the day.

Don't get scared. An average adult needs 7-8 hours of sleep. And teens all need 10-13 hours to feel completley satisfied and rested/awake. But dont get upset. 6-7 is okay, try on the weekends to get some more sleep. Everyone need more or less sleep than the next person, no matter how old. Just eat right, exercise daily, and get decent sleep. No one likes going to sleep, not even my children and when i went i didnt like it at all either. Just relax and dont get stresses. try to get as much sleep as you can without it hurting your day or life. 6-7 is ok to sleep but maybe your growing body needs more. try it out!!

good luck and dont worry!!

Does this happen in the winter more? Could be SAD. Or you are not getting enough sleep. Teens need at least 9-12 hours, the most of any group. Are you eating healthy? Poor diet can stress your body out and that results in slowing down.
