so my name is juliana, but not the way you are thinking. It sounds like "Huliana" because i am colombian and it is in spanish. Is my name ugly? because i get made fun of a lot. I used to think it was cool to have such a unique name but i just dont know anymore...

its unique instead of the modern names everybody has like Anna,Elizabeth,Kristy,John and everything like that
you should be proud of where you come from and your name
its a really cool name and your name has nothing to do with who you are and if some people want to call you juliana which is an english type name, they can. I like your way of it and the english way. keep thinking it is cool! i think it is and it looks like everyone else does and whoever makes fun of your name dont have any uniqueness...they are all the same and you can be different and that is a GOOD thing!!

What's in a name? What's more important is how you carry yourself. If you carry yourself with confidence, an ugly name won't hurt you. Other people may even name their kids after you.
Honestly, Juliana is not a bad name. It's a common name in the Philippines. If you really think it is, get yourself a pet name like "Jullianne" or Julie or Anna/ Annie.

I'm familiar with that concept...your name is unique, and I like it. The thing is, people will tease you no matter what your name is, because for awhile that's what people do. I like it! Its unique! If you don't like the spanish way of saying it, then have people call you juliana (american way), if they dont know how to pronounce it correctly, they will call you juliana (american) anyway!!!... doesn't make a difference! Its what you like!!!

I like it. It was the name of our former queen She passed away a few years back. She was well loved. One of her grandchildren is also Juliana.

I think it's gr8! maybe because I'm Maltese or something but I just love it! And don't feel bad about what other ppl tell u. As long as YOU like it, it's fine! PPL make fun of my name and it's pronounced like Italians say it not english ppl get my drift. (like in maltese it's d same as italians pronounce it).
