a little of both. definitely rude as all they are doing is spreading germs. but depending on their job, they may have no choice. no sick time, and loss of pay if they don't show up.

I think it is rude. That's kind of why I also disagree with encouraging perfect attendance in school. Nobody else wants to get your germs.
