You know, the single life has its perks like not being tied down. Of course that kind of a perk only makes sense to someone who doesn't understand that being married isn't just a warm body at night or "married filing jointly" in April.
Marriage is sharing your life with someone else.
I've been single, I'm currently engaged and will be getting married in 6 months. Being single was great because I could do anything or go anywhere at the drop of a hat. Now that I'm engaged, I have accepted the responsibility of the care of her heart and soul and she has likewise, entrusted them to me. I have grown beyond the shallow outlook on life that I had as an unattached individual and each day I try eliminate my inherent selfishness so that I might love my bride more fully.
Because loving my bride is the greatest joy I have found on this earth.

married life definitley; I love it so much more, it's a lot more mellow, you always have that stability and love of the other person. You don't have to go out dressed like a ho, trollin the bars or clubs. It's so much more relaxed and happy. I love being married! I love living with my best frien/hot *** husband. It's great! I wouldn't want to be single again for all the money in the world.

For myself I'd say single. I feel like there's more freedom and less dependency. Although the married life is comfort. Never being alone. Support. Meh.

I've never been married so I can't say why, but I enjoy single life.

single. Because its how i like it. more freedom independent. less annoyance. able to do whatever and make the most out of life. You can still love somebody without marriage. I know it sounds weird and a little wrong but I cant explain it. Still, single life, deffiantly. I dont get lonely.

I'm married and it's so much better for me than worrying about getting a date and finding the "one". I actually said that recently to my husband.
But that's me, lots of people enjoy the single life. It can be fun but in my opinion it gets old.

I've done both. My choice: Single Life.
Why? Because I like being able to do what I want, when I want to. I don't really like taking care of someone else. I don't mind taking care of my child, but having to take care of another adult who is capable of taking care of themself is ridiculous.
I also do not like sharing my bed, waiting for the bathroom to be free, or going to the movie store with a partner.
I'd rather go to the mall alone or with my daughter. This way I don't have to go into places I don't want to. :)
Wow, I sound like a selfish person. But, I can thank that to being married and also living with partners in the 32 years of my life.

Living a single life. Found my one true love, but sacrificed him for religion and parents. I foresee a single life till I die, and that's alright, because to have found and experience true love, is more than I could ever ask for. I'll be adopting a son in about two years.
