Pertaining to this year, a good song that describes my situation would be "My First Christmas in Heaven." My best friend died this summer of a massive heart attack, and I am sure that she is having the time of her life. As far as the song that describes me most is holly jolly Christmas. I have never lost the joy that Christmas brings no matter what anyone says to me.

Elvis: I'll Have a Blue Christmas (without you).

My grandmother raised me, and she died December 5th 12 years back leaving me (in essence) an orphan. So. I haven't had a "happy" Christmas in more than a decade.

I could really use one. v.v
