Well, there are more cheaper products available to me and also less jobs available. I guess the only way for me is to go to college. Which I am doing right now.

Well, I've been made redundant 3 times by American companies, twice because they had milked all the profits from take0overs, and the last time because, after the attack on the World Trade Centre, they were too scared to fly to Europe. I have been made redundant once by a Swiss company. My television is swamped with American programmes, most of which have no relevance at all to the way our lives are lived. My local high street is taken over by American burger/pizza/coffee shops that serve food that is dangerous to health, and nowhere near as good as our natural diet. Our car industry is in terminal decline as the foreign owners destroy all individuality and history, in the pursuit of profit. However, the good things? Well I can buy products for my hobbies, that cost less than that made here. I then copy them myself, making a higher quality product. Apart from that, globalisation has had no good effects on my life, in fact it is all bad. I am just very glad I don't live in a 3rd world country that is the current target for exploitation.

In good ways. Products are now available at lower prices because they are being imported from other countries. There is less of a chance for a war with China because we now have common interests due to trade. Certain produce items are now in my grocery store year around because we no longer protect our ag market just to benefit farmers at the detriment of consumers, and because we stupidly refuse to drill for oil in the US, I need to buy petroleum products not made in the states, which would be impossible without globalization. It's a good thing

The quality of consumer goods, including food has continuously gone down, more of my friends are out of work. Those that are working, are working longer hours and I observe that the overall standard of living in my part of the US has gone down.
