I will be performing Pagan rites and rituals. Praise the Yule season and those who know and follow the meaning.

The traditiional Christmas Eve for us, except for a few slight alterations. We had dinner just before 5:00 so that we wouldn't be too full to eat this evening. My mom's been doing last minute straightening ups, and my brother's friend just came over with some presents for him, although he had nothing for her in return. I've had a cold all day, and yet I still went with my dad to buy presents for my mom, and even wrapped the gifts for him. I did the cover of the POp-Up book I have to do for English, but that's as far as I could go for today. My mom and I played Jenga. we never do anything together, so this was a pretty big step for us. Our neighbours who moved away this summer are coming over for our annual Christmas Eve get-together. We've done this ever since I can remember. They come over and we talk about the year, catching up on all the things we've neglected to tell each other throughout the year. There're lots of different nibbly foods, and everything's delicious. I just went and told my mom to rearrange the plates, napkins, and forks so that they look like snowy holly. I hope I feel like eating tonight. I so enjoy it. I wrote out my yearly note I leave out with the milk and cookies, and I charged my camera batteries so that they're ready for taking videos tomorrow. I dressed up a teddy bear I have, (from Build-A-Bear,) so that it looks like a Christmas Angel. Right before I go to bed, I'm going to have each my parents read The Night Before Christmas. I have two copies of it, so everything works out. Besides, maybe it'll help me sleep through the whole night. Do you ever find you can't sleep on Christmas Eve? Anyways, in summary, I've been pretty layed back today, resting myself in order to heal for tomorrow. That's my Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Goodnight!

Well, hubby and son unfortunately have to replace the water heater which suddenly decided to go out. WHICH SUCKS.
Other than that, dinner and gifts at my parents and then home to our house( which hopefully now has hot water and a non-frustrated hubby) for gifts and games with us and our kids.
