I take the pill each night around 9. I can't take it in the morning because the times I wake up vary a lot, and same goes for the times I go to bed. I don't want to take it at lunch or anything because I'll be at school (awkward!).

I already have them out in plain sight next to my toothbrush but what are some other tips to remember!?

You could set a recurring alarm on your cell phone - since that's probably always with you, it could be a good reminder. They make cases for your pills that have built-in alarms too, and they have lots of cute case patterns and for many different brands of pills: http://www.pillpaks.com/order.html#.

Also, maybe the pill isn't the best method for you. You could ask your doctor about Depo-Provera - that's what I use now after seven years of (faithfully) remembering my pill everyday, it's nice to not have to anymore! It's a shot that you only have to get four times a year.

It's worth taking the pill on time. If you stick with that method, set a clock - and your mind - to remembering for the sake of your health and your future. Good luck!

You might want to switch to a different type of birth control. There are all sorts: the ring, the patch, the implant, the IUD, or the injection. This way you won't have to remember to take a pill every day.

You need to set up your alarm clock or write big note say, "PILLS" Try to remember as soon you get up in the morning. Just like you brush you teeths everyday. You have to get in the habit every day.

Use your cell phone's alarm, set to ring every night at nine.

Take it, along with vitamins and calcium, with dinner. (You're still building bones!)

If you're able to fall back to sleep easily, consider taking them in the middle of the night. In college, I used to take mine at 4:00 a.m., because no matter how late I stayed up, I was always in bed by then.

set an alarm or ask someone in the house to remind you just in case. I try to take mine right before I go to bed because I always go to bed around 11pm, thats what works for me.

You just have to get in the habit, like the habit of brushing your teeth etc. What if you took it every night after or before dinner?

If you can't take the responsibility to take them, then you shouldn't be having sex--quite simply.

In the years I took the pill, I never forgot, not once.

ditto...set an alarm...or keep the pills in your pocket or somewhere where you will feel them (or on top of your pillow).
