6. Washington Redskins (8-7) – Own the tiebreaker over the Vikings by virtue of head-to-head win.
7. Minnesota Vikings (8-7) – Need a win and Redskins loss to clinch final wild-card spot.
the Minisota is playing you can lose an make playoffs
The next stop on the journey is at home against the archrival Cowboys, where the Redskins hope to continue to ride an unrelenting defense and the steady play of Collins right into the postseason.
"The stage is set," cornerback Fred Smoot said. "We just have to go win that game."
After Jackson took a step back in his development for the second straight week, the Vikings need help. They need to win at Denver next week and have the Redskins lose to Dallas to get in.
Jackson was poised and efficient in four straight victories that helped Minnesota climb out of a 3-6 hole. But after throwing three interceptions and fumbling a handoff in last week's victory over the Bears, Jackson threw two more picks in the first half against Washington.

Of coarse the skins are going to beat the cowboys, Didnt they lose T.O.?
Anyways have you noticed how well the redskins started playing recently? Don't get me started on their improved offensive capabilities with the added bonus of their powerful defence they been packing all season.
The Cowboys are losing their Touch and wouldnt have a chance if they were up to full speed. Redskins and Chargers are going to super bowl because Patriots are gonna get eliminated in playoffs.

A rivalry game with perhaps one team geared up for a full 60 minutes. Dallas must strongly consider resting Romo, holding TO out and treating this like the third pre-season game. This is a playoff game for Washington and they will pound out a 24-13 victory to clinch a slot for the second-season.

if they keep playing the way they have been playing..that means getting first downs in the late 3rd Qtr and in the 4th..even scoring late like Collins has been doing and Campbell could not..
if Collins had Qbed this team..all year they would be playing Dallas for the NFC Homefield advantage next week..not just a wild card spot..under Campbell they blew 5 leads of more than 9pts..out of 7 losses he was 5-7..Collins 3-0 in the games he has finished down the stretch

I sure hope so, but I've learned to be cautiously optimistic with this team. They have to potential to win every game, however they seem to be a better team on paper season after season then they are on the field. As long as they play their hearts out like they did against the Vikings, then they will be just fine. Todd Collins is my hero.

well, normally i would say the cowboys would beat Washington by 50. but the redskins are going to try harder to make it. cowboys already have homefield advantage so they don't need to play well. with that being said, the cowboys will win by 20.
and to answer your question, no the skins won't go to the playoffs because they won't beat Dallas.
