I might be for 5 mins if I'm lucky. by the time I've finished all my preparations I'll be in the mood for a quiet vodka or 2. If I wasn't so damn busy I'd be glad of your company :-)

Well, Don't dwell on these feelings ok. Everybody feels sad and lonely sometimes. Call some girlfriends or just go hang out at a bar or a club tonight and try to forget all the nonsense. You should be celebrating that you're alone this christmas eve! Men aren't all they're cracked up to be anyway. What freedom you have! You'll see your son again don't worry about that. If your life is really getting you down maybe you can try to change things about yourself. You can't change other people and will drive yourself nuts trying. Think of losing your job as a "vacation" Use this time to work on yourself. Maybe take a few classes, lose some weight, confront people who hurt you in the past...whatever it is you need to feel better about yourself. Whatever really bugs you it makes you look outside of yourself for affection. You shouldn't need a guy to make you feel good. And by the way it might be none of my business but you should really stop sending money to all these guys oversees unless there's real husband potential in one of them. The local guy knows your interested If he's not dating you he doesn't want to, move on. Edit: ok just read your update about the guy from nigeria... seriously you need to thoroughly check out, meet in person, background check anyone who asks you for money./ I hate to say it but if you "met" him online or something he probably doesn't even exist. There are groups of scammers who go around making false personalities and posting pics of random attractive people and posing to be real people. Thats how they make money they pretend to be real people and in real relationships but it's actually just Business to them. That's why he "disappeared" when he was supposed to come marry you. He wasn't real, and a lot of these other guys probably aren't either. Seriously take care of yourself. Only talk to people you meet in person who treat you with love and respect.

Yes, I'm home alone tonight but, I still have some presents to wrap. I'll put on Christmas songs ( CDs') and, I'll have some wine with cheese and crackers. Wanna join me ??
