I am not sure what you are saying makes him the most presidential -- unless it is the flip-flopping depending on where he is running.
My understanding is that Romney has not run "many many corporations." He ran an investment group. While that investment group might have had a large interest in several corporations, that is not the same as Romney being asked by different corporations to serve in a senior position.
Romney is a one-term governor. That means he has even less qualification for the position than any president during the past 100 years (including the current one). On the Republican side, Senator McCain and Senator Thompson are more qualified and an argument can be made for Representatives Paul and Duncan, Mayor Giuliani, and Governor Huckabee being more qualified. On the Democratic side, all of the candidates but Senator Obama are more qualified, and Senator Obama has a colorable argument that he is more qualified.
The only thing that seems to make Governor Romney in any way a serious contender is the amount of his own money that he is spent over the past year on advertising in Iowa and New Hampshire. But for that money, he would already be out of the race.

Mitt Romney may be qualified to run a company, but to run our country you must have more respect for the Constitution. Many of the problems our country has are due to ignoring the principles of liberty enshrined in the Constitution.
We need a President that is willing to honor his oath of office to support and defend the supreme law of the land, not violate it on a regular basis.
Ron Paul is the only good choice for President.

Ron Paul obviously, he has more experience, and actually follows the Constitution and the founding fathers.
Mitt is not the most "presidential" whatever that means,
if that means lying crook passing unconstitutional
legislation, then yes i agree with you.
ftr most of his supporters are ...surprise surprise ,
MORMONS

Set politics ASIDE maybe?
Here is the deal...the republicans have SCREWED up and are continuing to screw up (the democrats hold the majority by a tiny bit..the republicans can still screw things up).
As a party, they deserve to be sanctioned...the party has made a mess and the party should be out of the White House.
In order to vote with a degree of intelligence, you must look at party issues (and not just stupid ones like abortion and if two consenting adults can get married).
You need to look at the track record of spending.....Republicans like to say democrats are tax and spend......Republicans are Spend and spend and spend and spend.....we are in so much debt from the war alone, our children will never pay it off....the dollar very low....mortgages in record foreclosure...ALL ON THEIR WATCH....
Clinton? Yeah the man got a BJ...big deal... no one died.....he did not pardon a person guilty of blowing a CIA cover........
EVERY party spends...the question is...where do they spend it...I prefer to spend my money on programs, education, the environment, health care and caring for the people in this country...rather than forcing a democracy on a country that doesn't want it and cannot handle it....which is not why we went there...we went for weapons that don't exist.
DEMOCRATS....it is the way to go this time! I don't care which one and I don't care how badly Rudy exploits 911.

kinda hard to not use politics in a politics question, in the politics & government section, but I'll try.
There are actually a very large amount of presidential cantidates this year. If Stephen Colbert was still running.... well, that would be a way to not use politics =)

Anybody would be better than Romney! Who knows what he believes other than he likes corporations, and more corporate welfare is the last thing our country needs. The pro-choicers and gays were his old friends, but now he practically denies knowing them-if that is how he treats his friends, can you trust him? He is supposedly anti-gay marriage, yet Massachusetts got gay marriage on his watch-how does that happen? GW Bush was supposedly a good CEO, who could surround himself with the best people and run our country like a corporation, but we tried that and he ran the country like Enron, so let's not try that again. Let's get someone who is clear on where they stand and who we can trust this time.

Does it not bother people that Romney is plastic perfection? He has created this Ozzie and Harriet version of what he (and seemingly a bunch of Republicans) thinks is the perfect vision of a President.

Considering how the elected officials in this country have pretty much screwed everything up over the past 20 years, I'd prefer someone who's never held an elected office higher than Drain Commissioner.

You have got to be kidding, right? Romney is the most phony candidate of the bunch. His platform is what ever he thinks we want to hear. If by presidential you mean tall in stature and handsome, what does that have to do with anything. The man reminds me of a used car salesman. He has no real convictions but will say anything to close the deal.

Nah.... i don't share your views. I think Ron Paul is better suited for the position. By the way........Just to let you know............I voted for Bush............twice. I will admit however that Romney is a very intelligent businessman. I will not belittle the man. But how do you maintain a successful business without the confidence of the "people"? You don't. The people like somebody "real" and that helps guide them to restore some resemblance of hope. That hope being Life, Liberty and Prosperity. That's why Ron Paul WILL BE the next president of the United States. Time for "real" change.
